When I first got my hands on this mini air puff, I thought it was cheap. If you're spotting it for the first time as well, there's absolutely a chance you'll think it's a one-time-use item. At first, I didn't pay too much attention to the details and workmanship. However, when the marketing salesperson of Cnbelle told me that this product is not just a one-time use item, we considered how to control and improve the quality.
The Cnbelle Marketing Manager said: “ We can't maximize product profits while ignoring the importance of the user experience.”
1. See if it is composite.
Just like that, I got to the front line of understanding the product. I went back and forth between the material market and the factory, and I talked to the staff to get a closer look at how to improve. I started to dissect and analyze the product, and I discovered the secret: the difference between products is reflected when companies cut corners on materials and production processes. After developing an upgraded version of the improvement plan, we ignored the cost factor and focused on customer experience. The complex is the combination of the outer layer and the inner air-cushion puff layer. There is a layer of sponge in the middle to firmly fuse them together. This mini puff is not easily degraded. The materials and craftsmanship are better, and it is more durable.
2. Performance after soaking in water
It is difficult for us to perceive changes at the microscopic level, so we need to use a magnifying glass or microscope to see objects clearly. Mini puffs get bigger when in contact with water, which will magnify any defects. By making the problem obvious, it's easier for us to distinguish, compare, and understand the best and the worst product. What is the difference? Below is the experiment I did. On the left is the normal Chinese material , and on the right is the European high-quality material. Clearly, European materials perform better.
3. Printing and dyeing technology and quality of the air cushion puff
There is no obvious difference between different factories in the outer material of the mini puff, but there are obvious differences in the printing and dyeing process, whether it is the overall color or printing. The performance of the two products is completely different. In the picture below, you can see that the printed and dyed material will have obvious differences in their appearance.
The quality of the air cushion puff differs when made from Chinese materials compared to European materials. The obvious difference is that the surface made in China is rougher, while European materials are smoother and more delicate. The two experiences are different, and the prices reflect the difference in quality.
4. Look at the smoothness of the mold and the clarity of the edges and corners.
If you carefully compare a good air cushion puff with a poor one, you will find that the smoothness of the edge is somewhat different. Why is this? This is due to the use of a new mold versus an old one.
When a new mold is first made, its inner wall is smooth. After a period of time, the inner wall of the mold needs to be cleaned and polished, and it becomes less smooth. This involves the producer's quality control. A high-quality factory will do regular maintenance and polishing of the mold. Low-quality factories blindly pursue production and rush delivery, but they may ignore the daily maintenance of molds, because they don’t want to pause production.
5. Look at the richness of colors and the ease of purchase
Why can't the factory provide a choice of colors? The production of a piece of special colored material usually requires a minimum order quantity of 240K, which is not a small amount for color customization.
Many small factories are reluctant to buy and stock a lot of colored materials because they are worried that they will not be sold. They would rather choose just a few common colors. This has a great impact on customers' color selection and purchasing convenience.
Cnbelle 12 full colored mini puffs are available wholesale at the Cnbelle official website with a MOQ of 60 sets. If you wish to customize your logo or design new packaging, the MOQ requires 1000 sets.
